Elements of Treatment Court

Rapid Intervention
Immediate Access to Treatment
Systematic and Coordinated Approach to Treatment
Judicial Leadership
Frequent and Direct Contact with Treatment Court Team Members
Use of Incentives and Sanctions as intervention.
Must attend self-help meetings as direct per Phase.
Fees are $60 per month in addition to any Restitution/Court fees.
Bi-weekly Court attendance.
Full time employment or school attendance required.
Weekly urine test will be determined by Phase.
Treatment Court pro-social events are happening all the time.
Minimum of 20 months.

The 5 Phases of Our Treatment Plan

Phase 1

(3 Months)

In this Phase, you will focus on stabilization and employment. Participants will also start substance abuse treatment with Southwest Counseling.

Phase 2

(4 Months)

Treatment and developing healthy sober relationships are the focus in this Phase. Education will be examined and encouraged as needed. Life Management classes will be provided as well as a Financial management class.

Phase 3

(6 Months)

This is where all the work is done. Court appearances decreased as needed. Weekly cognitive behavioral classes are required as well as continued substance abuse treatment with Southwest Counseling Services. Medical and dental assistance in this Phase is provided as needed.

Phase 4

(4 Months)

Relapse prevention is the goal in this phase, Court appearances decrease to monthly, treatment should be finishing up with Southwest, and urine testing will decrease. In order to advance into Phase 5 all requirements must be met.

Phase 5

(4 Months)

This the maintenance phase and the final phase. Court will decrease to once a month on even months only. Urine testing will decrease to the minimum in accordance with Wyoming Standards. Monthly meetings will remain with the Coordinator and/or Probation
